Anger erupts in this poem.
Isn't it a beautiful day? I heard someone say...

Who would know with these tears in my eyes?

Isn't it nice to see you? I  saw them smile at me.....

Who would know I've been lonely and missing you,

Damn the darkness and the lonely drives where quiet is all I have to hold me tight.

Damn the hours and the moments I spent missing your arms,

What I fool I have been, isn't it wrong?

Damn the day and the night and the tears,

Somone tell me I'll be allright.

Damn the love I feel inside,

Damn you for leaving.

Time will heal your pain, I can't believe that's what they say,

When one door closes, and I ask them to stop, I can't stand another cliche,

Things happen for a reason, and I start hating them for trying to make me smile.

What a pitiful soul that pines for you, I tell myself,

Wouldn't it be better if you found someone else?

Don't you want more than what he gave you? The answer is yes...

Damn the hardest part of letting go,

When you know you were wrong to ever feel  that way to begin with,

Damn the heart of the man who will never know what true love is,

Damn me for letting someone have that much control over me,

Reflection brings truth... and the truth is,

I am better off without him,

Damn it, damn it good!
