A night spent with a deck of cards,
THE MIDNIGHT HOUR.

It's the arrival of the midnight hour
When the hands of the clock
Join in prayer,
Praying for the peaceful repose
Of today's passing souls..
It's a time when solitude
Guides my hand in a game of solitaire.
And each flip of the cards
Is a lesson to me
In how to be
Without being lonely..
