Poem about a boy named Andy. Dedicated to my friend Leah
Andy

Andy couldn’t brush his teeth
He couldn’t brush his hair
He couldn’t even take a breath
He didn’t ever care
He sat around on the couch all day
He didn’t turn on the TV
He left his life behind him
Now he couldn’t see
His emptiness was the end of him
And all his lonely thoughts
Now he’s lying in a grave
His mother and father bough
Andy wouldn’t do a thing
Because of how he is
Andy didn’t have any friends
And it’s all because of this
He’d sit in the living room
Alone all day long
Never would someone stop by
And ask him to tag along
Andy wasn’t depressed
And Andy wasn’t weird
Andy didn’t have a problem
But Andy’s life was mirrored
There was another world
In which his life was grand
This other world was perfect
Andy wished it was his land
Andy knew all about it
One day he looked in his mirror
He realized he wasn’t different
He knew he wasn’t weird
He found it all was opposite
That he got the bad end of it all
Andy knew this all by heart
But he didn’t know it’d be his downfall
