About a girl and her abusive boyfriend.
Painting
Sometimes I wonder just what you mean
When you take my hand
And sometimes I think about what you feel
When we walk through the sand

I know that I love you
And I know I always will
But sometimes I wonder
If I'm the one you want to kill

I see that evil glint in your eye
And I know when you look at me
That you don't really care
It's quite easy to see

When I paint on the table
You glare right at the red
Then you grab your wrist
And go hide under your bed

It's those times I love you most
When your eyes gleam with tears
Because it's then I realize
You'll be mine for all my years

Once you told me
All about your past
How much pain and suffering
How long it seemed to last

Occasionally you'll flash me a smile
And blush as I flash one back
But then they're gone
And it's back to your attacks

So what can I do if I love you so?
I don't want to leave
I know you'd die without me
At least, that's what I believe
