A calling to turn back to God
A solemn tear streams down my haggard face
A tear that should be shed by the entire human race
It is a sinful tear cried by those who are lost
A tear cried by the damned, their souls the cost

Why do you weep you ask in confusion
Your whole life has been only an illusion
You thought control of your destiny was in your own hands
You thought you were the master of these your lands

You were wrong, all we are and own are controlled by another
No not your wife or mother or sister or brother
Your fate is under the control of our God above
Our Heavenly Father the master of love

The tear you shed is your acknowledgement of sin
It’s the pain you’ve caused the Lord you feel within
It’s your hearts way of saying you need to repent
Ask for forgiveness from the one Heaven sent

God awaits your return to his loving embrace
Let God wipe the sinful tear from your face
Let pride stand on its own and bend your stiff knees
The Lord Jesus awaits your heart felt pleas

Open your heart and your mind and cry out to God
And the Lord will give you an approving nod
Cast your evil ways back at Satan’s face
Tell him only God commands the human race

Tell him God is the only master you want or need
And in your new heart will God plant his seed
Rejoice wretched brother for your soul has been renewed
Your past indiscretions have been reviewed

All who beg forgiveness will be reborn in Gods eye
Death to the father of the lie
Your a new  child of God a brother to the lamb
Praise to the Lord Jesus son of our God “I Am”
