A continuation of Anti-Cyclique Life Patterns
Wastelands of shattered rock and pale bronze surround me.
Gutted lakes lie strewn across this canvas,
and offer only a hue of despair and abhorrence,
as hollow gusts of snow-capped mountain trauma blunt my senses and bludgeon my mind.

A distanced silhouette acts as a cleft for my locked encumbered muscles,
so a solemn pace I take towards gleaming oasis.
As she grows closer my soul utters an unfamiliar murmur,
and nature counters with quickened frozen winds and a destructive darkness.

While drowning in shadowed dejection and congealed blood,
grayed jagged stones echo high-pitched cracks as earth trembles.
Enveloped and overwhelmed, I reach ahead,
and take hold of what matters most.

With a steady exhale, warmth scurries on my skin.
Jagged mountains replaced by soft slivers of resounding green,
Joints collapse as I crumble beside her,
and hair mixes with malleable grass.

We gaze together at zealous blue sky,
As ripples of reflected lakes echo trickling symphonies.
But as wind spirals hushed whispers above, I realize
I found a place not far from here.
