This is actually about someone having a fantasy of a love interest that won't ever be
I met a guy who was perfect for me
Seemed only right that he’d be my destiny
But woe unto my foolish heart
The calamity of doubt keeps us apart

My true love prince has passion for me
But it is held by the depths this melancholy;
Her nature seems against me

Fate holds me back from being his queen
So only in my dreams does our love it seems
Has the chance to grow to know
The touch, the feel, the taste, the smell
Of our passions that kindle inside our souls
For the love we share ignites the flame
Of lovers desire for possession of body and soul

But damnation is damming the dammed
For each waking moment passes by to remind me
That my dream is yet only a lie
For no passion has been exchanged

Alone I must stay
The passion dissolves into pain
For the sea refuses to calm
In the darkness of an imagination gone wrong
