A poem written as a teenager about drug addiction..
PLEASE REVIEW! Please remember this poem was written when I was just a teenager. It is part of a collection of teenage poetry I would like to get published. I would like to collect an array of poetry written by teenagers, to fill my book "End of the Innocence".

TIL DEATH DO US PART

As I looked down at the mirror
A tear fell from my eye
My hands began to shake
“Help me, please!” I cry

Upon the mirror – a razor, a straw
And a perfect line of speed
My enemy and friend; my heaven and hell
My want, desire and need

It helps me forget
The pain I feel
With the devil
I made a deal

I gave him my world
My soul, my time
He gave me a razor
A straw and a line

Now I have no dreams, no goals
I have no life, no heart
Just me a razor, a straw and a line
Until death do us part
