man, said she, do not judge me on rhythm. for i am indecisive and there are two parts.
Today I sat laughing at all that were near me,
Picturing how they would turn out to be.
Although some would make it, i cant help but fake hope
At all the dead futures i see.

And again we pay homage to asinine fiends
Who by untoward means try to even the score.
They play us like fools but know not the rules of all in love and all in war.

These people all laugh like a day at the race,
But they pace themselves straight from unnatural starts.
Vanquish the power of weathering other
Survival and burden that’s lashed to our hearts.

Nothingness, requiem, idiom, prayer.
If you knock, knock on wood, and you would if you dared.
Leaving no mercy so that we still curse those who show us no signs that they care.

Tears flow like torrents that press to the guilty.
Wipe them away and the evidence hide.
Needless to say we're all damaged and filthy,
But still we cling on to our pride.
