we must never forget that we are all living together; not separate
I have put myself into a pickle,
So many factors teetering on the brink.
Inevitably it all ends with a sickle,
In this negative thoughts I always think.

I walk around as a mindless vessel,
Oblivious to my fellow woman and man.
Only caring to build and add to my castle,
Never looking around me to lend a hand.

How can I become a better human,
This technique I have not learned.
For my thoughts and feelings must be fluid,
Selfish to selfless I must be turned.

Eliminating meaningful interaction,
Seems to be a common disease.
Helping a brother can be a distraction,
But in that task lies my path to peace.

I must realize my collective situation,
And not indulge in my separateness.
Living a good life has its stipulations,
A fragile seed in my mind I must caress.

Seeds of love, compassion, honesty,
Attributes that shall open my eyes.
Ultimately realizing my hypocrisy,
No more hesitation only wholehearted tries.
