This is a poem about true life
To Dance

Before your dance with time began
Our faithful God who had a plan
Upon a tree of wrath and tears
Would take away your pain and fears
So you could live out in the light
And with him know that you're alright
A prize that you can have for free
If only you would just believe
The hardest thing you'll ever do
To die yourself and rise anew
A timeless battle with the beast
The Father knows will never cease
With eyes so blind and ears so dull
With God all things are possible
Like others way before your time
Choose faith not darkness how you'll shine!
Don't take too long to go his way
Maybe this is your final day
Too call to Jesus “rescue me!”
oh how he's waited patiently
Who is it that you say I am?
With joy confess “the great I Am!”
With heart in harmony believe
The Father raised him from death's sleep
To sit always at his right hand
With everything at his command
And when you take your final breath
You'll wake up in a place so fresh
On heavens grass so green and soft
By cool blue water your new loft
How beautiful his holiness
How precious is God's forgiveness!
Alive forever this you'll be
To dance with him eternally
