A Lover's Suicide And The Effects On Loved Ones.
I looked for you at the bottom of every bottle
pills and spirits
I searched for you in magical powders
smoke and needles
I hungered for you in another's arms
stained sheets and old incense
I strained to hear your voice upon
wind and rain
I hold the memory of your passion
green eyes and lips so kind
I became impossible in my affections
changed and cold
I spoke unkind words to your face
tears and pain
I never believed you would leave
dust and grave
I stand now silently at your wake
repentant and broken
These were the things that would come to be
These were the things that came to pass
For the dead still speak
and the living yearn to answer
