A Summertime Poem.
Silent tears in the night
awaken guardian spirits
swirling like gentle breezes
fear and loneliness
casting great darkness
until the fire fairies dance
in the summer season
Seeking out the weary travelers
and the lost souls
lighting the way of
those dead end roads
a celestial wonder
of starry blue eyes
does descend through
velvety skies
whispers and caresses
they do pry
into the folds
of feathers divine
Do not fear
or pull away
loves sweet mercy
guides her here
no more wanting
no more needing
no more longing
no more weeping
little child lost
you are now mine
