Some people wear seatbelts others just don't. it's life.
In the car I put my seatbelt on.
It’s safer.
Can’t get hurt with the seatbelt on,
Everything is in order,
Things stay in place.
I am fine.
Then there are those days when I say what the heck,
I get in the car and I don’t put my seatbelt on.
I’m out in the open,
Ready to fly into the dashboard at sudden stops,
I want to hit my head on the ceiling at the speed bumps,
My stomach tickles as I go down the hill,
I get a kick out of knowing anytime a policeman could pull me over for my recklessness.
But after my fill of thrills I always get back into safe mode.
I put my belt on again,
And wait for the next time I can say, what the heck.
