Craving a quick read? A few micro works from my favorite little black book.
-THE BLACK NOTEBOOK COLLECTION-

Parts

Rob while I stand gaurding
The door to my heart
It is yours in parts, the purest
Greater than my whole, egregious

Plunder while I stand guarding
All that you can hold
Take my soul, the sincerest
The love I have, timeless
My dreams of you, a witness
To how I've fallen, in pieces

If you leave while I stand gaurding
Cherish what is yours
In parting

Frost

You are like the frost
Crusted on me, window glass
Without the sun to witness
Our winter's bask
You lay by night
Covering me whole
In the Moon's pallor light
Casting me cold
With a crystal glaze
A brillant blurr
An icy haze
A frozen slurr
How beautiful you were
Before the temper change
Sent you away cracking
Melting in chills
Slowly leaving
My Window sill
How I wished to show the world
That you were near
But all the remains
Is the cold water running
From my swollen pane
The window, alone again

Free Thought #1

In a passing thought of things behind
the aura of you came to mind
a distinct sensation I can't describe
the complexity of traits, I couldn't ascribe
I wondered, how could such depths lie within a man?
Places unexplored, larger than Grand
Canyons
Great, like Barrier Reefs
Off the shores of the east
You thrive on your own
And like ecology
I wish to study, I wish to know
How this organism lives
How this organism grows
I suppose, this all arises from the "what ifs" of our youth
But only in adulthood, could I ever know truth
Truth is, there's something I've always wanted
Though not yet attained
I want the real you
And not the memories that remain
My mind can't recreate
And my memory is amiss
It has never known
The touch of your kiss
Let's leave that to lips
Warm to warm
Soft to soft
Passion without ferocity
Creating electricity
Oh how
Our sparks would fly
Until then I'll see you
Through the dreamer's eye
Remember: Things lost
Are not things forgot
That's why I'll never need
Your forget me nots.

He Loves Like Jesus

It is always the innocent that bears the sin
He whose yoke is pure and without offense, he will take away transgression
He cries the tears of a hardened heart and puts on your burden as his own
He suffers in infatuation that you may start again in love

The Good Cancer

"A cancerous thing it is!" the old man said with a face now captured by the dance of shadow and light.
The children crowded around were lit too by the flicker of fire and the flame of thought.
"It takes over every cell of your former self, hardening to kill inside and corrupting to rear a creature new."
Some expressions were solemn, others now contorted in disgust.
"All previous will pass away, marred 'til we no longer recognize you. Your heart, mind, even your soul, everything, dear children, will be lost in it's name." The man croaked in feveret conviction and gesturing limbs.
"It's a horrible thing, Love is, ....unless you needed the change."

Eyes Speak

What is it about them? Their optical exapnse that begs me to dip
No, no, to dive. Head over heels as I fall alive
Into?...What will become
"Take this off," you said, "I'll help you."
"All I ever wanted to do was undress you. Not of your clothes, but first of your issues."
"The ones that overwhelm and fall into your tissue"
So I did, we did into your hues
Of brown, mostly blue
I can never distinguish which of the two
Just beautiful
Like the way you held my hand
each finger takeing a path it never knew.
