A poem bout the world, and simple thing to make it better.
I look at the world and what I see,
Is kind of sad, at least to me.
I don’t mean war, I don’t mean hate,
I don’t mean the atrocities we tolerate.
I mean the hope that’s always there
And the fact the no one seems to care.
I know the downtrodden, I’ve been broken before.
I know it’s not the end, I know there is more.
The world we made, it’s tearing us down.
It s easy to see just look around.
The problem isn’t what we’ve done, that can’t be changed,
But who’s to say reality can’t be rearranged?
People are giving up when they are knocked to the ground.
I refuse to lose and think ill stick around.
I may get beaten up, may get hurt.
But in the end, it’s all of worth.
I try my best and sometimes fall,
I get back up and don’t try to stall.
The world is moving, I just don’t know where.
But then again, I can help there.
I can’t do it alone, not as one man.
So I gather all the friends that I can
And I ask “Will you try?”
Even if it makes you cry?
So I'm near done, you’ve read my rant.
“Will you help, or believe you can’t?”
It’s an easy thing, a simple choice.
Now stand up, and have a voice.
