Some things just don't go away.
Fear dripping slowly to the floor.
A touch of the dusty remains brings a flash of blood,
A reminder of what once was
And the ghost of a violent past.

It has awoken

The normal exterior hides a million hidden lies.
Broken glass of shattered minds.
The table, a tool for destruction now holds a fruit bowl,
So innocent.
No-one would guess deep red staining underneath the paint.

History always watching

The walls hold all this sadness and pain,
Re-playing to themselves the screams of mercy.
They cry inside, the deeply ingrained mourning,
Tell themselves that it never happened.

But it did

Where once a cage did stand now lies normality,
A lamp where there was once the most overwhelming darkness.
If you listen softly, maybe you can hear the cries,
Maybe you could feel the chill of darkness.

Maybe you could feel death

The immortal soul of the immoral darkness is still stalking,
Is still haunting those who will never forget,
Still consumes the walls of this house of pain.
Close your eyes and you can still hear the screams,
Still hear the walls crying out in vain.

Never escape the sound

They never loseā€¦
