Just trying to get back into writing poetry it's been a while.

Water turns a darkened hue
Preparing for the storm that's getting ready to brew,
Thunder booms up in the sky
Lighting crackles in answer to the thunders why.
Heaven opens it's sleepy eyes
Tears of rain fall in sorrow
You pray you will see tomorrow
Silent clouds turn gray and stew
For the eye of the storm is coming for you.
Shelter is close but not near
One look in a sea man's eyes
There hidden is the awful fear
Of being swallowed by the Sea
And all it's triumphant waves of Glory.
The devil's playing the fiddle in tune
Leaving your ship in ruin
The waves crash down upon the sails
You hold tight to the rails.
A crack in the sky is heard above the ROAR
Showing you what fate has in store
Judgment day is upon you now
You better find a way to repent somehow
Kneeling you pray for your sins to be forgiven
Only to find it's not worth living.
Waves below are whirling fast
Take a deep breath for it may be your last.
Swallowing you hole the water turns a darkened hue
Claiming it's victory, Claiming you!
