This poem ia about how Inspired I am by the moon
The wind whispers it's lullaby
In answer a lone wolf is said to cry.
Bring the shades of dark with you moon
For I pray to be with you soon
To watch the horizon as the day breaks.
To see the light the sun makes.
I shadow you as you shadow the sun
Watching the stars play and have fun
The Constellations they hide
Unware that I run by their side.
I envy you moon
For the planets wave goodbye
And still above us you loom
Watching as the heaven's sigh
And still the clouds pass you by.
Deep within the atmosphere the planets lay
You rise above them and hold them at bay
For the earth is like the lone wolf that cries
And the moon is the keeper of all its lies.
A sliver of moon gets past and in thyne eyes
I see the truth for what it is
Captivating is the moon's timeless lullaby.
