Unraveling thoughts
The things unsaid

The things that are left unsaid are the things that scream loudest in your head
They toy and play within your mind until they become the things that bind
Tumbling round out of control they give way to thoughts that are hard to hold
Then return once more to give flight to those things we try so hard to fight.

When the time has come to set them free the choice is made so carefully
To purge the silence and voice the dread and give a life to you instead
Freedom flows from inside out, washing clean the fear and doubt
Fearing who we are without the things unsaid within our head

As Romeo once said "Hark, what light through yonder window breaks"
A clear analogy it makes
Of life and love and truth and peace when those echoes we finally release
Put forth your trust on wings of dove and make room in life for heartfelt love

The things that were left unsaid are the things that now free us instead
The time has come for peace and hope, to tie our hearts to others rope
Set sail your dreams and loose your fears, Give birth to smile and dry your tears
A heart that heals finally gives flight to wings of peace and joy and light.
