A personal reflection
I met an angel embodied in a woman's guise,
standing in the street, with rain upon her face
and she spoke to me of sorrow,
should I remain with her 'til the morning's sun rise.
But I was entranced by her ethereal grace
and did not worry of the morrow.
The story of my life, we shared in her eyes.
From innocence to experience, my various roles,
until the unseen owl called, hollow.
And as dawn awoke softly in the distant skies,
she touched my cheek, this seeker of souls,
and beckoned silently for me to follow.
