Most everyone falls for someone they know they can't have, but want all the same.
Everything slow down,
A frozen moment in time.

My heart has been stolen,
Yet it is I who has committed the crime.

I never felt safer,
My life never seemed more right.

A deep, secret chamber inside my hear heart,
Suddenly opened up with a warm, glowing light.

That frozen speeds up,
It is now in the past.

My heart was opened quickly,
But the doors shut just as fast.

You belong to someone else,
You are not and never will be mine.

I’ve been told, “just be friends,”
But to me “just friends” isn’t fine.
