This poem was writen from the emotion and excert from a memoir stirred in me.
All I want is someone to tell me this isn’t real,
Someone to hold me as I awake from this terrible nightmare.

All I need is someone to hold my hand as I walk through this hell,
Someone to tell me everything will turn out fine,
Someone to show me this is all just a horrible joke.

All I require is someone to give me courage,
Someone to fight with me against these faceless demons,
Someone to let the world know I am not dead,
Someone to spread the news of this injustice.

All I demand is for someone to open their eyes,
Someone to see I am not the villain,
Someone to see that I am the victim in this horrific tale,
Someone to rescue me before this sea of nothing pulls me under.

All I want is my family, my home, my freedom.
