Something to really think about
Remember always how people are
And please remember what they do
Because if you want to make it far
You've got to remember who screwed you
And, alas, my memory is gone
But the people are the same
Even here on this rainy gray dawn
I know they blame ME for their shame
But I shame myself and no one else
Because they control their own destiny
But, just ask someone else
And they'll blame it all on me
But when I work and struggle and ride
My rusted bike along that jagged line
I don't look down, I just look inside
Though that never makes me feel just fine
Pain and sorrow my wake causes
Makes my speedboat seem like too much
Perhaps a rowboat?say....take some pauses
And don't skim or brush, but REALLY TOUCH
And hold someone and love them so
That each day with them is new
Take more time so that I can really know
The person next to me, or even you.
