satire on festive sit down dinners.
Yikes! Not another
mundane sit down.
Spreading pensive stories.
Passing festive cheer.
~
Spewing pretentious
friendly emotions.
Politely welcoming
words; near my ear.
~
Stifling pompous fantasies;
manifesting across a table spread.
Stood firmly stating my request:
"Pass the passion please!"
