A story of a girl who smiles to hide the pain, and feels invisible.
Behind the fake smiles
is a real person
with real pain.
You think you're the only one?
Think again.

All they see is the smiles,
not the pain behind them,
they don't look past it.
They figure she smiles,
so she must be happy,
but if they knew the real me,
they would realize I smile to hide the pain.

The tears fall nonstop,
pitter patter, pitter patter,
as they hit the floor.
I can't take it any more.

I walk behind you,
but you never glance back
it's like I'm not there.
You won't notice me
why can't you see?
You mean so much to me,
but I'm invisible to you.

So maybe, nobody will notice...
when I'm gone.
