love in summertime, how it sneaks under the door...
Hello, Love, the lightning is falling, and there
is a place for you where your breath hits

the back of my neck. I could drown here
in lines and movements, I would wear you

worn, shuddering if the mood were right
at the edge of your bed. I want you to know

I want to think faster and slower as the days
sneak by me in a mist. I burrow pillows.

Have you seen me lately? Where the sparks are
dropping in the corner of my basement and I am

coughing summerdust and loving you,
saying: Hello, Love, the fog is warm

on the shore. The water is drifting closer
while you are away. I can hear you

scratching at my door, Love,
your breath is falling, sneaking under
