2nd Accident

Dust hanging in the air;
A veil with no glare.

Obscures vision,
To cause a collision.

Uprised to catch the cleat;
Trips, falls, she's been beat.

Lays with pain, on the ground;
Kneeling, team shall be found.

Tears swelling in her eyes,
Shocked from great surprise.

Heart pounding in my chest,
Afraid my friend's had her last.

First step to recovery's been breached,
A smile I caused, her face has reached.
