Facing up to the fact that the world can't change you forever.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Please, friend, help me to recall,
Who I am deep down inside,
Who it is I try to hide.
Who people see,
It isn't me.
But they look for that before the real me.

Mirror, mirror can't you see?
You can't tell me who to be.
People fade,
The world will too,
Then no one will look back at you.
All they'll see is selfish gain,
And all it caused was grief and pain.

Mirror, mirror my old friend,
Our time together is at an end.
My time was spent to make me shine,
In your glass,
In your shine.
So goodbye, dear friend.
I shall never look at you again.
