Love gone wrong.

Walled In.

This boundary of brick and mortar.
Impregnable, built high.
Surrounds my sorrow, stifles my grief.
A prisoner 'til I die.

It will never solve or save me from
the troubles that abound,
nor the spurious fascination that
in you, it seems, I found.

Should I be sorry that I met you?
My heart was torn in two.
But your despicable intentions
meant not a thing to you.

Let me be, within my fortress walls,
they took long to build.
Never more will they fall easily.
All feeling you have killed.
