about loseing someone close to me
Eyelids coarse and cutting as they close.
But to heavy keep open,
Tears drown the sight of empty space,
And for a moment,
My dreams appear.
Until all becomes clear.
Here it comes,
And what do you see?
Two cups instead of one cup of tea,
And one lonely ring.
A habit that no longer serves a purpose
Leaves Shards to clutter the floor,
Pressing these into your face as you are overcome
So numb beyond this.

Into me a long series of retractions are etched
Open me up to see the scars that are left
Don’t worry about rubbing the sleep from your eyes,
Don’t worry about moving in a still room,
Because you are denying the only truth,
And becoming the infamous quiet catalyst of doom.
Not only are you the truth,
But you are the most beautiful truth
And when you are true,
We are lucky, we are blessed.

Impossible is nothing when passion takes hold,
The excitement, addiction and desperation,
Cause limits to be stained with blood and love
Digging my nails in until they break,
Mutilating myself for the unattainable
