I stood out in the rain one day and it only reminded me of my ex.
so soft, so gentle
drizzling cold to a surrender
lost in a dream of you and me
and a kiss that lasts for a second
but you feel forever in his eyes
the rain that touches my head
and kisses my cheek
the rain that brings me tears
are my tears that fall from heaven
my every prayer for you
is in every drop, every puddle
the sond of every drop... silence
encounter the words in my mind
walk in my shoes, step in the puddles I've left behind
feel every ache and pain you put my heart through
feel the trembling of my hands
feel my sadness with in our memoirs
feel the rush of every breath that beasts my heart
for i was always here
and never in your heart
but you are like the rain
you are here with me
you gently kiss my cheek
but your lips are cold
one long moment you loved me
and then you slowly faded away
yes hun, you are like the rain.
