This is a last letter to a past love written from someone who mourns the loss
I fear...
to say your name
because it is a curse
upon my lips,
a curse
upon my heart.
I realize that
leaving you
was the worst mistake.
I realize that
I really do
still love you.
Your touch is missed.
Your love is missed.
You, most of all, are missed.
I wonder about
what could have happened,
what should have happened.
And I smile,
and cry,
at what did happen.
