It explains its self very well I think.
Saying the words that were so long unspoken
Her eyes are filled with tears that blind her vision
Trying her hardest not to hang her head
Not letting one tear fall past her eye lid
Slamming the door behind her as she walks away from her life
Shivering a little from the cold mid-day breeze of the fall season
Everything seems to always leave her in her life
Until this day
Because today she walks away from her life
Leaving the pain behind
Today it seems like the leaves are the only things walking with her
Holding on tight to her dignity
The leaves follow her in her foot steps
Guiding her into her new life
Walking with her head held up high
Ignoring her life screaming for her to return
She turns the corner leaving her life out of sight
Behind her, the leaves embrace her stride
Ready to catch her at any moment
Listening to the leaves crumble beneath her every step
Supporting her the whole way
