Poem written about a love that I can't let go of.
I feel the whipping wind against my cheek,
Feeling at home in your arms is getting weak,
I try and look ahead of the storm to take a peek
The fog lights are clouded, seeming so meek.

And then I realize my boat has turned over,
and you are nowhere in sight,
I cry out but the words don't come,
I am sickened with deathly fright.

I tread against the current, it's dangerous waves,
I see your life flash before my eyes in a weary daze.
I want so badly to find you, I remember what we shared,
I dive under the thrashing sea knowing youv'e always cared.

I try to rescue you and find you through the murk and sway,
Knowing intuitively that when I do, this shall be my happiest day.
"Please, Please, Please!" I scream, "Do not Sink, I pray!"

I take off my life jacket, positive it's my only saving grace,
Just so I can search the depths and again see your face.

I cry out in pain, you have always been the only one all along,
Don't listen to the underwater bubbles, they will say this wrong.

Finally, I see your lifeless body lurking farhter, deeper down,
I put my life vest on you, finally hearing a breathing sound.
Could it be that you've come back to life, and I will just drown.
As long as you give me a dying kiss, it's worth all year round.

If I don't feel your presence, I am shipwrecked in a deadly ocean,
And to know that we will again be together is my only logic notion.
