Forever is now...
That day you parted my smile
Like a kiss.
Peaceful spider web tangle
Of limbs
Gossamer glistens boldly
On this offering
of my flesh.

*

You are my optimistic image

*
Feed me apples by the sand
Fingers through my hair
Sigh
You’re face is reddened by
Rays of pure ultraviolet

This is what I imagine
In my head
Where I go when I dream

Life always shatters
Idyllic images

*

Mirror, mirror breaking the wall.

*
Lemon drop showers
Of flowers
Too many to name-
Spread across a bed
Of ruins.

Speak to me in whispers
Of things often remembered
But never heard
I know everything that you
Lock behind you’re secret keep.

Stronghold of you’re passions.

Kiss me now and last forever.

Right?

But forever never comes?

*
Split pea storm skies
Bruised fruit colors wash

Like

Tears?

Maybe loves not built
Like buttressed castle keeps?

*

See the real me in these broken shards

*

Break open the core
Of me
Split the atoms
and probe the
Cobweb corners
Where my real hope sits

Stare in my eyes
Laying between
These sweet cool sheets

we’ll find that

Forever
Is
Now.
