So many things are difficult and hard to understand in this world.
So what dangers lie for us today?
The scarcity of food or winter's delay?
The children cry but no one hears,
Anything but empty tears.
Generations of closed doors.
Why don't we open just one more?
Venture our truth and find all answers,
Cure the virus and our world's cancers.
Brand new history and ancient fossils,
New diseases and new losses.
Make the blind see, help the crippled run.
We've forced it all on our God's son.
All the action in our lives today,
How much of that will I pray?
Will I make it past my friends?
Find our truth that lies within?
Will I pass my blue eyes on?
Find out before my life is gone?
No worries of death come from me,
I have not made an enemy.
No natural disaster scars my soul,
I'm still here as a whole.
Some can heal what they've caused pain,
They'll straighten up and make a change.
No more will they cry for their mother dear,
None will talk, none will hear.
What has the world made us into?
It only exists just to end you.
There's always a closed door my friend,
So it's you who must start to mend.
