The hard choice of leaving your love, your family, and your friends for a different life.
Childhood treasures and family stones,
Throwing away all you’ve ever known.
Decisions and choices you have to make,
How many measures have you got to take?

Don’t take it for granted,
Life gives what you take,
You lose some but win some,
Hearts mend after break.

Forget your regrets and pick up your things,
Love can stop traffic but can it stop wings?
Dreams drop by once and never look back,
Take the chance, hold on tight, and follow the track.

Start looking forward,
The future it winks.
Beckon all aboard,
What do you think?

The traveler sits patiently by the gate,
Staring as the unknown unknowns wait.
Maybe there’s time to turn back around,
Or maybe her feet will root to the ground.

Open that gate,
See what’s inside,
It’s never too late,
It comes in with the tide.

Change is a fear that eats from within,
Life is a fear that occasionally grins,
Fear is a fear that your head creates,
Shake it of quick, and put it on straight.

Choose your choice,
What’s best for you,
It’s your own voice,
Telling what’s true.
