I can never turn away from the nights eye's.
Her eye's darker than the cold side of the moon's pillow
And deeper than my innermost thought's.

I'm seeing red, and can't make out the daylight through her hair
regardless of how hard I strain my eye's and my heart.

Sophisticated chaos follows in her wake,
yet I can't help but wade into these deadly waters.

Buoy's float by like breadcrumbs that I left to convince myself to turn back,
to leave this place for a safer harbor.

Yet I ignore my own warnings once again,
and follow this current that is all to familiar to me.

I have chances to turn away from this misty fall
that ends in devestation and solitude.

Yet I don't, I have nothing better to do than
tumble over this appealing precipice.

The chance to reach her, to even see her,
draws me over the side regardless of the peril.

Even as i fall into the mists of her company
the agonizing peaks of loss pierce my heart.

Forever heartbroken, Forever Lost and Lonely I lay next to her,
closer than a friend, yet much further away than the lover that I long for.
