Yesterday

Purple hues across the skyline,
bring closure to this untamed day,
darkness falls unto its victim,
fog rolls in upon its prey.

Soon form dew drops sweet as wine,
inviting new to come what may,
sunlight gleaming through the darkness,
stirring dusk out of the way.
