Poem about writing
I wish I was a writer
As eloquent as can be
I'd write all those lovely stories
For you and me to read

I wish I was a writer
With lots of published books
Evocative jacket covers
In the photo how I'll look

Never give up and never surrender
She always says to me
You will always be the best in the end
Just let the words be

The words sound so ugly at the start
Much better when they come from the heart
I'll write and write and write some more
Write into the office and through the publisher's door
