Rated: E · Lyrics · Romance/Love · #1337083
A poem I wrote, basically for the enjoyment of poetry and the emotional vent it provides.
Oh the pungent agony!
A drug to wake the soul
Worry not for wounded me
The pain shall take its toll
Plead not the darkness stand aside
Cry not should glimpse my tears
It would not waver should you cry
Pray flee, for pain is here

Cry not for me, little one
Cry not for misery
Dry your eyes, little one
And do not cry for me

Oh the darkened terrors here!
Such Nightmares from the past
Curses buried in cold fear
Have risen, dead, at last
I hear them come, stay not, my love
I pray my love would flee
Terrors come not for purest dove
The nightmares come for me

Cry not for me, beloved one
Cry not for misery
Dry your eyes, beloved one
Pray: do not cry for me

Forgiveness begs the wounded heart
I meant not to bring love here
Forgive me, love, and take my heart
Still I cannot catch your tears
