Just in case I die tonight
I want my friends to know
The way I thought of each of you
And how I loved you so
The time we have is short indeed
At least when counting time
But eternity is at our hands
For both your soul and mine
At heaven’s gates we’ll meet again
Or in the city fair
And I just want to let you know
That I will see you there
But for now down here on earth
