Yet another love poem but this one asks a intriguing question.
The rain beats melodies on the street
and my tears beat rythym on my cheeks.
The boy beats heartache on my soul
and  the silence wreaks havoc on my mind.

The unnecessary drama of love
and the passion sparked each and every time
Is a mixture hastily thrown together
that isn't at all kind.

When a boy loves a girl
and a girl likes a boy
The smiles are over analyzed
and the kisses are completly scrutinized.

When 'I love you' is said
and a bond is likewise formed,
A vow is made that would be a sin to break
and that's where most stories begin.

So when that sin is commited
and the pain strikes all involved
The cycle begins once more.
and the question arises again and again

Why do we crave love?
