Granted loss and disappointment.
Once we were forgiven, and now we are not. Our sins are no longer tolerable to those that spoke love. There is nowhere to go, but we have to move on. Where once we called home, now we can not. Ever pursuing safety.

We had once chased the Father, his spirit pouring over us. We cried aloud in tongues and danced 'til we could no more. Following morning we torched the things we once held dear, then with night we begged his presence once again. He never came, he never touched, we never praised his way. We were forsaken, he let us down, waiting to amend.

The death of a personal god.
