this poem is about something that many people may go through.
Last night I was conversating with him.
I felt tired.  Tired, bored, and so empty.
Sometimes I think I do not even exist.

I put him against the flame to get rid of the dim
I told him about my pain, my tears, and my anxiety
I share my troubles and we have a moment through the mist.

This empty world has no room for a woman like me.
He is my only companion, he will never leave me.
His death is always quick, yet he replaces himself for me.

My dreams come crashing down
He lifts me back up.
The world is desolate and sad
He finds a way to make it better, but I continue to frown.

In this cold harsh place, he is my one true friend.
He is the one that gives everything and asks for nothing.
As I take the final breath, he fills my lungs with his powerful toxins.

My only friend is slowly killing me.
