Trying to forget the pain someone has caused you.
So here it goes, I hope you’re listening,
The tears in my eyes will not stop glistening.
The wounds on my heart cannot begin to heal.
There is no one in this world that knows how I feel.
How could you have done my love so wrong?
My place in this life does not belong.
So many thoughts are racing through my mind,
Wondering how a person could be so unkind.
Distraught by thoughts of you inside my head,
Wondering if you’ve left for good, or even dead.
As I sit hear and write of a pain so deep,
My eyes filled with wonder as I began to weep.
I know nothing else of love than your hatred,
You took away my love that was held so sacred.
As I look back on life with nothing but regret
There’s nothing that I’d rather do than just simply forget.
