Thinking back on how things should have been.
The calm before the storm
This much I do know
For I wait patiently
But to no avail

The eye of the storm
As I wait
Maybe he will notice
No luck, do I have

Differently, I should have done
But this I did know
For the time that has passed
Will not heal the pain

I close my eyes
To the world I once knew
And maybe he will notice
That I still love him

The calm before the storm
This much I do know
For I wait in silence
Alone
