Thoughts in the mind of a teenage girl in jail.
My World Is Tilted,
My Vision Blurred
By The Pain That Screams Inside My Mind
night and day.

I Rip At The Hole In My Uniform,
Destroying It Like I Have Destroyed Myself,
Throwing The Streams Onto
my cell floor.

Exposing A Purple Scar,
A Thin Jagged Line,
I’d Give Anything
for a knife.

I Lean Backwards,
Freefall Off My Slab,
The Smack Of
skull and concrete.

Warm Blood Spills Out,
Staining The Gray Ground.
I Roll Over And Pray To God,
i drown.
