A short poem about my desire for a beauty
Time after time my imagination engages,
It strains to capture this coveted emotion,
The feeling timeless, though my soul ages,
An enchanted visage spurs my timid devotion.

The sweetest sunrise and the softest sunset,
Rain’s subtle serenity upon a sleepy meadow,
I snatch endless paradises in my dreamers net,
Yet, they all fail to reap what your beauty can sow.

Suddenly in awe as our eyes first met,
Passing glances burrowing straight to my core,
Nights of divinity and days of regret,
An infinite travesty to say I simply adore.

A warm wall of gratitude cascades around me,
A personification of perfection standing in view,
I would forever scour the earth to discover a key,
To a beautiful girl, just like you.
